A tour for two of the winery, tasting of elite wines, and a couple's spa at the vineyard resort to end the day is probably the best gift for wine lovers!
Sula Vineyards, spread over 30 acres in Nashik, is at the forefront of the Indian wine revolution. Initially, only a grape growing region, Sula's founder went on to convince a winemaker to start a winery on the estate. As a result of his determination, the first wines produced in the year 2000 were acclaimed as India's best white wines. Now you and your significant other have an opportunity to spend a memorable day at the Sula Vineyards.
Itinerary:
Day One: 08:30 Hrs. Have Breakfast and start your Journey from Mumbai to Nashik, approx. 3 hour drive, reach the hotel and relax. Tour starts with the Rudimentary Vineyard trail in the Nashik Valley 15 kms towards the West side of Nashik for a wine tour of Soma Vineyards and Resort destination on the bank of Gangapur Lake on Godavari River. Winery Tour & Tasting with the wine maker and taste their premium wines. Reach SULA Vineyards and witness India’s famous and biggest winery facing by Gangapur Lake, go around the winery with the company authorized person followed by Wine tasting. Back to Hotel and evening at leisure
Day Two: 10:00 Hrs. Start for the first Vineyard tour 35 Kms towards the West side of Nashik on the way to Mumbai, reaching Sanjegaon a small village 40 Minutes drive and arrive Grover-Zampa Vineyards, a beautiful vineyard on the Hill top with a scenic view overlooking the huge Mukne Lake around and knowing about all the wine grapes they grow, like Riesling, Muscut, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, etc. with the winery Hospitality staff, then witness the wine making right in to the Tank Hall followed by Wine tasting with the Wine Maker. All premium wine tasting along with the Sparkling.
12:00hrs: Leave for Vallonne Vineyards a Boutique winery nearby and very close to the same lake just 5 kms away from Grover-Zampa Vineyards a beautiful mountain view property having an Exclusive South East Asian Cuisine Malaka Spice Restaurant. Over viewing the vineyards from the balcony of the restaurant, a winery tour with the Wine Maker followed by Wine Tasting of very aromatic wines like Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Melbec, Syrah, a different Rose made from Cabernet Sauvignon and also a beautiful blend of Cab-Merlot followed by a Desert wine right in to the Tank hall. Break for Lunch in the same property and start for the return journey and Drive back to Mumbai
