09.30 hrs – After Breakfast pick up from hotel and drive through the cloistered Navy Nagar, Mumbai’s hidden bastion of the army and naval base and reach Afghan Church Heritage 1 site. Afghan Church was built to commemorate the martyrs of the Three Afghan Wars fought between 1835 and 1843. Back in 1820s, the church used to be simply that thatched roof chapel. On 7th January 1858, Bishop Harding consecrated the church. Afghan church was given a façade of brown basalt and limestone spire, complete with wide Gothic arches, wrought iron railings and an eight-bell tower. Weekly masses continue to be held at Afghan church.

10.15 hrs – Embark on BEST Bus route 123 from the church and drive thru Colaba Causeway, CST Museum, Kala Ghoda, High Court, Marine Drive, Chowpatty, and Dhobi Ghat then take the train and disembark at Churchgate Station to watch Dabbawallas. Dabbawallas (lunch meal couriers) are 5,000 member strong co-operative run by a bunch of Mahashtrian semi-literate men for the last 125 years.

11.45 hrs - Thereafter, embark on a Local Train from ChurchgateStation to Mahalaxmi to visit the Dhobi Ghat. Car pick up from Dhobi Ghat to Mani Bhavan (Gandhi Museum). Drive to Jain Temple and stop at Hanging Gardens for a photo shoot. Descend to Chowpatty and drive past Marine Drive to reach the hotel.
